Exhibiting at Arab Health exhibition in Dubai, 23rd-26th January

January 16th, 2012

After our success at the Medica Trade Fair in Dusseldorf last November, Sheffmed are pleased to announce that we will be attending the Arab Health exhibition that is held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition runs from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th of January and is the largest healthcare exhibition and congress in the Middle East, and second only to Medica in the world.

We will be showcasing the HD Lite system, a video headlight that allows wireless HD recording and playback. This was introduced to customers at the Medica Trade Fair and was well received by both surgeons and distributors.

The HD Lite system is made from ultra-lightweight materials, its design allows a micro HD camera to be mounted on the headlight for recording procedures and operates wireless with a battery pack.

HD Lite allows surgeons to record and archive their procedures in full HD, providing valuable teaching material whilst also offering possible evidence against any potential litigation.

If you are visiting or exhibiting at Arab Health this year please come along and take a look.

Stand number 7B31.

Visiting Egypt

October 28th, 2011

Alan recently spent several days visiting a hospital in the north of Egypt. The hospital is the main government centre for the region, overcrowded and poorly equipped. 2 hours drive from Cairo; it serves a population of around 4 million people.

It's doctors and nurses struggle to provide the care that we all too often take for granted here in the UK.
