Strobokymography
The advantage of kymographic proceedings is that they depict the realtime movement of the vocal cords. This means that non-periodical actions are depicted as well. These proceedings, however, require extensive evaluation at high cost. The strobokymography uses the known kymographic principle which pictures one line each from sequenced stroboscopic images one under the other. The resulting one-dimensional image indicates the horizontal wave movement of the vocal cords during the phonation. So far, stroboscopic records had been evaluated only image by image. Now, the evaluation is exact, reliable and faster than before. Information from the video strobokymogram is subject to the same restrictions as information from the stroboscopy itself. Strobokymography is a simple and cost-efficient way to interpret stroboscopic images.

FEED
The new DiVAS module FEED (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Dysphagia) is a modern and efficient possibility to evaluate and document endoscopic examinations of difficulty in swallowing, especially in conjunction with XION's flexible fiber- and video endoscopes. The examination video and the evaluation software are displayed together on one screen thus enabling the user to comfortably and quickly analyse the images. The examination report is automatically generated as doctors' letter. FEED is not only innovative but most of all a useful and time-saving tool in dysphagiology. It fulfils the highest expectations in terms of quality and efficiency.
