SHEFFMED VIDEO HEADLIGHT SYSTEM
The Sheffmed Video Headlight is designed for examination use and all types of surgical operations including microsurgery. Manufactured from ultra lightweight materials with a carbon fibre finish and available in either fibre optic or wireless configuration, it combines ease of use with excellent ergonomics and comfort for long periods.
The design facilitates the use of a micro HD camera mounted on the headlight for recording procedures without the need for cables. These can then be played back on an iPad or other tablet style device.
This combination of a headlight with HD camera is unique and will offer surgeons the ability to record and archive their procedures. This will provide valuable teaching material and also offer potential evidence against litigation.
SHEFFMED SUCTION / IRRIGATION
Designed for use in laparoscopic surgery the single use Suction Irrigation set provides a safe and effective method of cleaning the surgical site during procedures.
Comfortable and providing excellent control, the ergonomic hand piece can be operated using the left or right hand.
The friction reducing double sealing internal valves and high capacity tubing allow the easy flow of fluids and virtually eliminate clogging while the oversized buttons reduce fatigue during use by allowing 2 fingers to be used for either irrigation or suction.
Fitted with a standard 5mm probe the unit can be quickly converted to 10mm via the optional probe.
