Ear specula are designed to broaden a patient’s ear canal.

Ear Specula are typically shaped like a funnel and come in a variety of types and sizes to suit all ages.  Some can be fitted to an otoscope for examination of the middle and inner ear, others can be used with other handheld instruments for clinical procedures, such as removing excessive earwax.
